Exkursion Naturwaldreservat und traditionelle Alpwirtschaft im Gadental

In the Gadental European nature reserve, an impressive mountain backdrop with barren rocks and rugged ridges frames the traditionally utilised alpine meadows and near-natural forests. On a hike of around 400 metres in altitude, you will get to know the special features of this secluded and largely unspoilt valley. A diverse mosaic of natural and semi-natural habitats forms the basis for a rich variety of flora and fauna. During a stop at the Gadenalpe, you will learn first-hand how traditional alpine farming works in harmony with nature and the protected area.
