KinderKunstFest
On Saturday, September 13, the Bludenz artist community at Sturnengasse 26 transforms into a colorful creative laboratory for young artists. The Children's Art Festival invites children aged five and up from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM to partake in six different workshops with professional artists from the region. A small supporting program and fine culinary offerings from the Eichamt restaurant complete the experience – and all of this is free of charge.
Price
All workshops are free and can be attended spontaneously. Donations are welcome and will go entirely to the organization "Geben für Leben" – in line with the motto "Children helping Children".
The Children's Art Festival is a project of the UWYH association, which focuses on resource conservation, environmental awareness, and social development. "It is important to us that children not only become creative but also experience playfully how valuable reuse can be and how significant it is to take responsibility for our community and get involved actively," emphasizes the organizing team.

Important information
"We want to make it tangible that art not only enriches aesthetically, but can also promote creativity, responsibility, and the value of reusability," say the organizers from the association Use What You Have (UWYH), which is organizing the Children's Art Festival.
Professional artists from the region will provide insights into their work on this day and invite children and accompanying persons to try out new creative techniques and implement their own ideas. The program ranges from analog photography techniques to imaginative illustration up to sculptural and painting projects:
Christa Engstler takes you into the world of cyanotype, also known as blue printing - a analog photography technique using sunlight.
Omani Frei experiments with image cutouts and tracing paper – new visual worlds are created, which are brought to life with gouache paint.
Victor Mangeng shapes favorite animals and fantastic mythical creatures with the children from modeling material.
Dorothea Rosenstock invites to weaving with unusual materials, such as beer coasters, toilet paper rolls, or items brought from home.
Anna Stemmer immerses the children in the world of graphic novels – their own stories are translated into images using colored pencils or ink pens.
Bianca Tschaikner shows how old sponges can become creative stamps, creating colorful prints on recycled paper.
For small hunger, the adjacent restaurant Eichamt offers food and drinks. In nice weather, the visit can be perfectly combined with the Frühschoppen of the town music Bludenz, which takes place in the morning right in front of the artist collective.
