The impressive double house in the heart of the municipality of Sonntag in Vorarlberg is among the oldest preserved buildings in the valley. Over the centuries, the building has served as a residence, dairy, bakery, and inn. Since 1981, the house has housed a museum and an archive. Today, the museum building along with the stable is owned by the six municipalities of the valley. The local heritage preservation association is responsible for the museum's operations.
