Religious life in architectures and biographies

The summer exhibition of the Museum Association Klostertal focuses on the religious life in the region. Fifty years ago, the parish church designed by Clemens Holzmeister was consecrated to St. John the Baptist in Klösterle. For this reason, the exhibition presents the four churches built in the valley during the 20th century along with their architects: Langen am Arlberg, Wald am Arlberg, Bings, and Klösterle (in chronological order of their construction).

Furthermore, Pastor Valentin Thöny - the last resident of the present Klostertal Museum - would have celebrated his 100th birthday this year. This is an opportunity to delve into his biography, embedded in an overview of the priests and religious figures from Klostertal.
