The route runs partially on unpaved paths (gravel roads), so the use of a mountain bike or e-bike with off-road tires is recommended.

The tour includes some elevation, as several of the farms are located on slopes or at higher altitudes above the valley. A certain level of fitness is required. An e-bike with a full battery or a mountain bike for athletically trained riders is recommended.

On this special two-wheeled tour through the Klostertal, we make stops at six tasting stations on agricultural farms.
During a brief farm tour, we gain exciting insights into rural life and learn how important the daily work of our farmers is for nutrition, the cultural landscape, and regionality.

At each tasting station, we are greeted with a variety of treats – from savory to sweet – mostly made from our own regional products. In a relaxed atmosphere, we enjoy these specialties and hear the stories behind them before continuing by bike or e-bike to the next stage through the beautiful landscape of the Klostertal.
