Exhibition opening: Historic inns on the Arlbergstraße
Exhibition Opening: Times of Change - 500 Years of Peasant War
Description
The Peasants' War in 1525 was a milestone in the fight for civil rights in Europe. The project COURAGE, funded by the Interreg program Alpenrhein-Bodensee-Hochrhein, uses the 500th anniversary of this event to make visible the cross-border cultural area from Upper Swabia through the Allgäu to Vorarlberg and the events of the early modern period.
The exhibition at the Klostertal Museum is being developed in collaboration with the Montafon Museums. It addresses wartime as a time of upheaval and change. In addition to the Peasants' War, the Thirty Years' War and the Coalition Wars around 1800 will also be covered.
