Climbing route Fallbach

climbing wall/fixed rope route
Umfahrungsstraße, 6752 Dalaas

Highlight route for climbers

Detailed description

In spring 2018, a new via ferrata was built on the mighty Fallbach wall with the waterfall of the same name, which was previously only known for ice climbing. This long, medium-difficult via ferrata, which always leads along the right side of the Fallbach, offers great views and a sensational via ferrata experience in the Klostertal. The via ferrata does not have any technical difficulties, but the sum of the many C/D and C passages and especially the length make this route a challenge even for experienced climbers. Conclusion: This via ferrata is definitely not for beginners, but for enthusiastic via ferrata walkers with the appropriate experience and stamina it is an absolute must!

Difficulty: C/D, demanding and very difficult
Length: 1,000 m and 650 HM
Ascent: 20 min / descent: 1h
Hiking time in the climb: 3h
Parking: on the bypass road, opposite the entrance
