3-Day Hike: Spullersee and Formarinsee (Stage 3) | Klösterle
Stage 3 of this challenging, scenic three-day hike in the Lechquellengebirge, which connects Spullersee and Formarinsee via two Alpine Club huts and requires alpine experience, sure-footedness, and good physical fitness, particularly during the crossing of the Gehrengrat.
Tour description
On the last day, you head down from Formarinsee. The descent follows well-marked mountain and forest trails through alpine landscapes and ravines towardDalaas. The trail is varied and offers frequent beautiful views down into the Klostertal valley. The three-day tour ends in Dalaas, from where bus connections are available to the surrounding towns.

Day 1: Klösterle – Spullersee – Ravensburger Hütte
Day 2: Ravensburger Hütte – Gehrengrat – Freiburger Hütte
Day 3: Freiburger Hütte – Dalaas
Equipment
Sturdy footwear, warm clothing, rain and sun protection, a snack, a full water bottle, and hiking poles are recommended. Additionally, bring gear for an overnight stay in a mountain hut. A cell phone for emergencies.
