But winter in the Klostertal also leaves lasting impressions. Walks along the Alfenz and sunny days in the Sonnenkopf natural snow ski area provide relaxing and eventful moments. The wintry mountain world is also accessible to pedestrians on groomed tours such as the Muttjöchle.
... and if that's not enough: Austria's largest ski area - Ski Arlberg - is almost at your feet. From Klostertal, you can easily reach the entrance in Stuben by ski bus.
Natura 2000 protected areas such as the "Verwall" and the "Klostertaler Bergwälder" offer pristine nature and quiet retreats that invite you to hike and explore in summer. The clear waters and shady forests create ideal conditions for escaping the hot days and actively relaxing at the same time.
