With the Klostertal-Arlberg Card free with the Landbus Klostertal line 90 to Langen and line 91 to Lech. From there with the local / hiking bus Lech - lakes to Formarinsee (toll road!)
The local bus Lech runs in summer as a hiking bus to Spullersee L6 (Ravensburger Hütte) and to Formarinsee L7 (Freiburger Hütte) from Thursday to Tuesday morning and afternoon between Lech and the lakes every hour.
New in summer 2020: Wednesday is "car-free day" on the toll road, on this day there are only two courses in the morning and in the evening to Lake Formarin / back and one course to Spullersee / back. Between 8 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., no private cars or taxis are allowed on the toll road. On this day, pedestrians and cyclists have "priority".
Fare for the day ticket is € 18 (including tolls); Children up to and including 14 years travel for free.
The fare to the Älpele is € 10.
Inexpensive parking is available for € 5 in the Anger underground car park
Start of the tour is the municipality of Lech. First through the village in the direction of Zürs. At the Rüfikopfbahn the road to the right branches off to Zug. Through the car-free Zugertal the path leads you past the Älpele until you reach a fork in the road. Continue straight on until Formarin Alpe and then around Formarinsee to the Freiburgerhütte. Return via the same route.
