FAQ for Guests

Frequently asked Questions about the Digital Guest Card and Web App Clara

How do I get my Digital Guest Card?

The digital guest card can be activated in the Brandnertal, Bludenz and Klostertal in the Clara web app. If you stay in an establishment that offers the digital guest card, you will receive an invitation email to the Clara web app from the accommodation after (pre)check-in (at the earliest 2 weeks before arrival). There you can register via the link in the web app and activate your digital guest card as well as those of your fellow travelers.

Normally, only the main traveler receives an invitation email and can then send the guest cards of the fellow travelers to them (e.g. via WhatsApp). For larger groups, several invitation emails can also be sent.

When will I receive the web app invitation email from my accommodation?

The invitation email will be sent at the earliest two weeks before arrival, at the latest at check-in at the accommodation. Depending on the accommodation, the time may vary, as the time of registration in the registration system on the part of the accommodation is decisive.

I have not received an invitation email from my accommodation, but I would still like to register for the Clara web app already. What can I do?

You can fill out this registration form with your correct travel data to get your invitation mail and register. As soon as your accommodation registers you as a guest with the same e-mail address in the registration system, the Digital Guest Card can also be activated.

I have registered for the Clara web app using the registration form, but I cannot activate my Digital Guest Card. What can I do?

Registration in the registration system on the part of the accommodation is a prerequisite for the digital guest card. Some accommodations only register their guests on site at check-in. If you want to use the digital guest card already for arrival by public transport, contact your accommodation and ask them to create a pre-registration or a registration including correct e-mail address.

I have registered for the Clara web app via the invitation email from my accommodation, but I cannot activate my Digital Guest Card. What can I do?

If your accommodation cannot help you, please contact Alpenregion Bludenz Tourismus GmbH | Angelina Holzer | T +43 55 52 30 227 717 | angelina.holzer@alpenregion.at or the local tourist office.

I have contacted my accommodation but they do not know how to help me.

If your accommodation cannot help you, you can also contact Alpenregion Bludenz Tourismus GmbH | Angelina Holzer | T +43 55 52 30 227 717 | angelina.holzer@alpenregion.at or the local tourist office directly.

What should I do when I receive the invitation email?

In the invitation email there is a red linked box with the title "Here's to Clara". Click on the link and assign a password. You can then log in with the credentials and activate the guest card in the web app.

If you were already registered with the Clara web app during your previous stay, the system remembers the login data. In the invitation email it says "Welcome back" and in the link field it says "Here is your new access link". You can log in with your old password or reset the password and create a new one if needed.

From which sender does the invitation email to the Clara web app come?

Your accommodation is displayed as the sender. In the closer view the e-mail address noreply@holidayservice.info is the sender address.

Do I have to go back into my email inbox every time to open the Digital Guest Card?

No! The web app can be saved to the smartphone's homescreen and is thus accessible at any time, just like an app (instructions for saving the app to the homescreen appear at the very bottom when you open the web app).

Do I need an internet connection to load the Digital Guest Card?

Once the Digital Guest Card has been preloaded, it is also available offline because it is stored in the smartphone's cache.

How do my fellow travelers receive their Digital Guest Card?

The guest cards of the fellow travelers are visible in the Clara of the main traveler. From there, they can be sent to the fellow travelers (via email, WhatsApp, Messenger). Simply click on the "share icon" for the respective guest card and send the link.

For a travel group (more than 6 people), the digital guest cards are not automatically provided in the Clara of the main traveler for data protection reasons. For this, contact your accommodation.

Can I also use my digital guest card in parallel with the printed guest card?

Yes! If a guest card is printed out, it can also be activated digitally afterwards and used in parallel. However, it does not work the other way around. If the card has already been activated online, your accommodation can only issue a duplicate with a different guest card number.

I have already booked, why don't I get an invitation email from my accommodation?
