Exhibition "Walser on the Way"
More than 700 years ago, the Walser set out from the Swiss canton of Valais to an unknown new homeland and settled there. The close connection between man and nature has always been an inner attitude of the Walser and led approximately 700 years later to the strategic orientation of the region with the award as a UNESCO Biosphere Park.

The tour of the exhibition invites visitors to learn more about the UNESCO Biosphere Park and life and work in the Großer Walsertal, provides insight into mountain cheese production, and highlights the indispensable contributions to the preservation of the cultural landscape. The exhibition can be visited free of charge during opening hours. The mountain wooden tower and the Alchemilla herb garden are also freely accessible.

From Walserstolz mountain cheese to dairy/alpine butter to mountain tea. At Elisabeth's market stand. Product orders can be placed up to two days in advance and can then be picked up and paid for at the market stand.
