A varied 2-day mountain hike from the Muttersberg Cable Car to the Frassenhütte, including an overnight stay and an ascent to the summit of the Hoher Frassen
Tour description
You’ll start your hike at theMuttersbergcable car’s valley stationandfollow the trail toward the mountain station. Alternatively, you can take the cable car up to 1,401 m. From there, a well-marked trail leads through sparse mountain forest to the cozyFrassenhütte atabout 1,725 m. Enjoy the first panoramic views of the Rätikon and the Walgau along the way, as well as the tranquility of the alpine landscape.

approx. 3–4 hours ascent to the Frassenhütte (without the cable car)

Equipment
Sturdy footwear, warm clothing, rain and sun protection, a snack, a full water bottle, and hiking poles are recommended. Additionally, bring gear for an overnight stay in a mountain hut. A cell phone for emergencies.
