Sonnenkopf Cable Car

The Sonnenkopf family ski area, which is now well-known and popular far beyond the borders of Vorarlberg, is located directly at the foot of the world-famous Arlberg. Due to its ideal altitude (up to 2,300 metres), the Sonnenkopf is known as one of the few natural snow ski areas. Favoured by its ideal topographical location, the Sonnenkopf is considered to be extremely snow-sure. Insiders particularly appreciate the excellent snow quality until late spring. The Sonnenkopfbahn cable car takes you from 1,001 metres up to almost 2,000 metres above sea level. While the children have fun in Bear Land or on the ‘Bear Trail’, adults won't be bored either. The Sonnenkopf panoramic mountain restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes and hearty snacks for culinary catering and relaxing hours in the mountains.
