P. Martin is at your disposal. Of course, you can also bring your own priest and use our church, chapel or crypt. We ask for a written request to our team beforehand.
Biosphere Reserve
Großes Walsertal is committed to the sustainable use of its resources. From the Propstei you can enjoy many worthwhile excursions and hiking opportunities.
Over the years, a wonderful nature reserve with 13 ponds, small paths that lead over bridges, surrounded by flowers, shrubs, trees and with benches that invite you to linger and meditate, was created in the forest below the Provostry of St. Gerold. In addition, numerous panels inspire with meaning sayings and poet's words of mystics of different religions, which speak of the mystery of the invisible world.
We will be happy to guide you through the Sinn-Weg, tell you about its history and the deeper reason why Father Nathanael created this place of silence.
