Gnome Experience Trail | Wald am Arlberg

Alfonz, our water forest gnome, accompanies you on the new gnome experience trail in Wald am Arlberg. He lives in a piece of woodland on the Alfenz in Wald am Arlberg in the Klostertal. He takes care of nature with its many animals and plants, introduces you to his animal friends and gives you special insights into his exciting life. Since nature is especially close to his heart, Alfonz will be happy if you travel to the starting point with your family in an environmentally friendly way by bus.

The starting point of the gnome experience trail is at the bus stop "Außerwald" in Wald am Arlberg. Here you walk a very short distance along the main road (Arlbergstraße) out of the valley to the bridge. The trail now leads over the bridge to the other side of the river "Alfenz". There you will find the starting point. From here, the path leads along the Alfenz river into the valley. The exciting stories of Alfonz and numerous play stations provide games, fun and entertainment for the whole family. The last board is located shortly after the barbecue area/rest area. Here the trail branches off, leads up an asphalt road towards the main road (Arlbergstraße) and back to a bus stop. The bus takes you back home from the "Stelzistobel" bus stop.
