Tips for Gourmets & Families

Starting from the hikers' parking lot in the direction of Alpe Rona, connoisseurs, those seeking peace and quiet and families will find a variety of plants, beautiful hiking trails and resting places that invite you to relax.

Natural Diversity

brandnertal-sommer-tschengla-naturvielfalt

The High Plateau Tschengla inspires with a unique variety of nature and plants. In the protected and very well-kept meadows in the Vilschena and Mottaköpfle area you can find numerous alpine herbs and medicinal plants. Furthermore, three smaller moor areas with the corresponding plant diversity and a variety of orchids can be found on site.

Tip for those interested: Guided herb hike with the certified herb expert Eva Wachter.

Special Places and Resting Places

brandnertal-sommer-tschengla-rastplatz

Various resting places on the High Plateau Tschengla invite you to take a break and enjoy nature.

- Kneipp place with seats above the Alpe Rona
- Resting place for families with a small stream directly below the Alpe Rona
- 2 barbecue areas with plenty of seating and a fireplace right next to the Tschengla hiking parking lot.

All these resting places are available to locals and guests for a break or a rest. So that all visitors have a pleasure with it, we ask you to leave these places again clean and tidy after your visit.

Stone Circles

Full of secrets are the enormous, neolithic stone circles at Bürserberg, whose true meaning we can only guess. Detailed information about the stone circles on the Tschengla plateau can be found here.
