Transalpine Run 2025 - Brand as the second stage destination
The legendary DYNAFIT Transalpine Run powered by Garmin, one of the most spectacular trail running events in the world, made a guest appearance in Brandnertal.
The second stage on Sunday, 07. September led from Bludenz via Bürs and Bürserberg to Brand. With over 33 kilometres and 2,300 metres of elevation gain as well as 1,900 metres of elevation loss, the route demanded a lot from the athletes. The passage over the summit of the Mondspitze in particular offered impressive moments before the runners were given a ceremonial welcome in the centre of Brand.
On Monday, 08. September, the queen stage began: almost 50 kilometres and over 3,300 metres of elevation gain from Brand to Klosters in Switzerland – one of the biggest challenges of the week.
With impressive panoramic views, the Brandnertal valley proved to be an attractive venue for this international sporting event.
