Laudato Si - Klangschöpfung mit Chor und Posaunen
Sound creation with choir and trombones featuring the choir community Cantemus & trombone quartet Tetrapol
On the occasion of the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi, the Cantemus choir community and the brass quartet Tetrapol are jointly organizing the concert project “Laudato si – Sound Creation with Choir and Brass.”
The focus is on creation, peace, community, and awe at life. The program follows the footsteps of Saint Francis in three reflections: Man – The Brother – The Praiser. Meditative choral music, modern peace songs, and colorful instrumental sounds combine to create a musical “Sound Creation.”
A special highlight of the program is the commissioned composition “Vox Undarum” by the young Vorarlberg composer Matthias Seewald. The work tells of disorientation, new beginnings, and hope through wave-like musical movements and will be premiered in Bürserberg.
The Cantemus choir community from Bürserberg is under the musical direction of Philipp Nesensohn. The brass quartet Tetrapol consists of the four Vorarlberg trombonists Volker Bereuter, Wolfgang Bilgeri, Andreas Hofer, and Severin Keller. Ticket sales: www.cantemus.buerserberg.at/tickets
