Tour description

Climb alongside the goats, pet sheep and rabbits, or watch a newborn calf take its very first steps. A visit to our Animal Adventure Trail is definitely worthwhile and guarantees plenty of fun and adventure for the whole family!

Goats, pigs, chickens, and other native farm animals can be observed up close along the approximately 1 km circular trail following the Alvierbach stream. A truly animal-filled experience for families! Kids can watch the goats climbing, cluck along with the chickens, or observe the sheep grazing. An open stable area is integrated into the trail, offering insights into everyday farm life. Insects also have their own home here, with a dedicated insect hotel.

Starting point: From the Alvierbad Brand or from the bus stop at the Gemeindezentrum (community center), head towards Valavier Säga-Lädele and the Kneipp facility. After the Kneipp area, turn right and enjoy a leisurely circular walk by turning left over the bridge at Alpenlodge – Das Dorfhotel. After crossing the bridge, turn right and follow the path until you reach the Animal Adventure Trail (Tiererlebnispfad).

Along the route there is a playground with riding horses, a slide, and much more. In summer, the nearby natural swimming lake Alvierbad is an additional attraction, perfect for cooling off after the walk. Rest and relaxation areas invite you to linger and enjoy the unique views. And who knows—maybe someone will guess where the sheep can find the tastiest grass?

The path is illuminated at night, so you can also visit our animals in the evening after an exciting day!

The Animal Adventure Trail is suitable for strollers (all-terrain) and is open year-round. In summer, the animals are in the outdoor enclosures; in winter, they are housed in their winter quarters, where they can also be observed.
