Exhibition: Emmanuel Troy
In his work, Emmanuel Troy engages intensively with the history of painting and sculpture.
Emmanuel Troy, born in Egg in 1993, lives and works in Vienna and Schwarzenberg. He studied painting and sculpture and completed his diploma at the University of Applied Arts in 2019. His works have been exhibited internationally, including in Paris, Basel, and New York. In 2019, he received the 5x5 Scholarship from the Province of Vorarlberg. He designed a sculpture for the Egger village square as part of a public art competition.
Troy is deeply engaged with the history of painting and sculpture and is inspired by artists such as Wilhelm Busch, Carl Spitzweg, and Caspar David Friedrich. His works reflect nature, interiors, and personal impressions.
