Solstice fire on the Hahnenkopf

The traditional summer solstice fire is once again taking place in Faschina. On Saturday, the 20th of June, the annual summer solstice fire will be lit on the “Hahnenköpfle” in Faschina, drawing attention to the summer solstice.

Starting at 7:00 p.m., there will be a harmonious musical accompaniment featuring groups from the region. Among those participating are “Alphorn players/folk musicians” from Fontanella with melodious tunes, vocal soloist “Roland Franzoi” with fitting folk songs on his contra guitar, and the local trio “Alpen-Sound.” At around 8:30 p.m., the summer solstice fire will be ignited at Hahnenkopf, allowing for a view of surrounding summer solstice fires from the “Hahnenköpfle.”

A special highlight for children is the individual torch hike to the Franz-Josef Hut and back to Faschina. (Torch distribution at Hahnenköpfle for a small fee of € 2.00 per piece)

The event will only take place in good weather!
