Swing Faschina

Two solid oak swings, called "Hutschn", are now available for swinging enthusiasts in Fontanella. The 'Land of Swings' - which originated in the mountain village of Damüls - has been extended to include two new sites in the Biosphärenpark Großes Walsertal.

You can swing above the Seewaldsee lake in Fontanella, overlooking the Großes Walsertal, and at the middle station of the Stafelalpe panoramic cable car in Faschina.

These swings are more than just a place to sit, they are art installations embedded in nature and surrounded by mountains. They are also an invitation to change perspective, an opportunity to constantly sharpen one's view of the surroundings by moving back and forth. They are also an opportunity to reflect on acceleration and deceleration.
