Seewaldsee Bummelzug Fontanella

A walk to the "Seewaldsee" in Fontanella is worthwhile in any weather and also at any time of the year. The mountain lake is accessible from the bus stop Fontanella/Saege, in approx. 35 minutes by foot. The gently rising and again sloping, traffic-poor, asphalted road (the driveway is only allowed for residents) leads to the "Seewaldsee". Nestled in lush meadows, lies the idyllic little mountain lake.

Swimming lake
Since the water supply is only small, the lake at this altitude (1,200 m) shows exceptionally pleasant temperatures, which in summer - also on a warm rainy weather - invites to swimm. The beautiful surroundings and two restaurants at the lake invite you to relax and unwind.

"Seewaldsee" train
In the summer months there is also a small slow train from the stop Fontanella/Saege to the "Seewaldsee".
