"Kilbi of Damüls"
The Damüls Kilbi is a fixed part of the summer calendar and delights numerous visitors every year. It traditionally takes place on August 15 and offers a varied program for the whole family.
The festival day begins at 10:00 AM with a ceremonial church service in St. Nikolaus Parish Church, where the community comes together to celebrate this special day. Following that, the morning gathering hosted by the Alpenklänge Damüls music club starts in the underground garage in the village, where visitors can enjoy the day in a jovial atmosphere with lively music.
From 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM, the FIS Ski Museum is open, providing a fascinating insight into the history of skiing and the development of winter sports. Those who enjoy browsing will find a diverse range of products at various market stalls that invite exploration and wonder. Of course, there is plenty of food and drink to ensure that no one goes hungry or thirsty.
Additionally, there is a varied program for the little guests, with the bouncy castle and face painting ensuring happy faces and lots of fun.
The market stalls invite visitors to discover handmade products from local people who showcase their creativity and skills personally.
