Herbal Walk to the Stafel Alpe with Christiane Martin

pending  Su, 26.07.2026
Sunday 14:00 o'clock
On Sunday, explore this special natural gem at Faschinajoch barrier-free and in a relaxed atmosphere.

Have you ever been on a biotope excursion?

Under the expert guidance of Matthias Merta, you have the opportunity to explore this special natural jewel at the Faschinajoch on Sunday, July 26, 2026 - barrier-free and in a relaxed atmosphere. Around the Faschinajoch, you will find extraordinarily species-rich meadows: alpine meadows, meager meadows, and other traditional meadow types shape this cultural landscape. Together, we will investigate why meager meadows are among the most species-rich habitats in Europe, which plants and animals call this place home, and how this diversity is closely linked to careful, traditional management.

The excursion is aimed at all nature enthusiasts, especially at people who may otherwise find it difficult to participate in natural history tours due to physical limitations. The entire tour will be made as accessible as possible. An invitation to consciously experience nature's diversity - accessible to all.
• Distance under 500 meters
• only paved paths
• a calm pace and plenty of time for observations and exchanges

The biotope excursions are offered in collaboration with committed municipalities in Vorarlberg. Information on further biotope excursions can be found in the event calendar at www.umweltv.at/veranstaltungen.
