The range of tasks of mountain rescue is extremely diverse: from medical care and rescue of injured persons, search and avalanche missions to paragliding rescue and assistance missions for other rescue organisations.
Detailed description
Raggal Mountain Rescue was founded in 1959. The current active team is 37 members, five of whom are passive.
In addition to alpine instructors, emergency paramedics and two doctors, the mountain rescue team has highly trained members. The mountain rescue team works 100% on a voluntary basis.
