BERGaktiv snowshoe tour in Raggal​-​Marul ​-​ Monday

Hint / Advice

Tour depending on snow conditions:

Variant 1: Panorama Trail Raggal - Ludescherberg
Starting at the village fountain, you will pass by old farmhouses and reach a terrain terrace in pristine winter scenery to the viewpoint Grüneck, offering a dreamlike view of a snow-covered mountain landscape.

Variant 2: Raggal – Marul – Alpe Stafelfeder – Guggernülli
From the parcel Ahorn, you will hike in solitude and tranquility over snowy mountain meadows to the Alpe Stafelfeder and further to Guggernülli. The path rewards you with a wonderful view of the opposite core zone of the biosphere park – Faludriga-Nova.

Variant 3
If snow conditions and avalanche danger assessments permit, hikes to higher regions in the Großes Walsertal are also planned.

For guests from BERGaktiv member establishments, participation in the hike is free.

Excluding cable car, bus rides, and snacks.

Rental equipment

Snowshoes | Poles | possibly an avalanche transceiver, shovel, and probe. Rental equipment must be ordered when registering for the hike! Rental equipment € 18.00.

Important information

The hikes take place in (almost) any weather and with at least 1 registration.

It is up to the hiking guides to adjust the hikes according to the weather conditions and snow/avalanche situation and, if necessary, offer alternative tours.

You will be accompanied by certified hiking guides from Vorarlberg, from the Großer Walsertal as well as from Damüls.

The bringing of dogs is not possible out of consideration for the group!

Equipment

Small backpack with (warm) drink
warm winter clothing as well as hat and gloves
mountain shoes or sturdy winter boots
ski or trekking poles and gaiters, if available
