BERGaktiv hike to the Biberacher Hut
The Gadental is unique due to its originality and the natural and rare forest stands, and it was designated as a nature reserve in 1987 and later as a Natura 2000 area as well as a core zone of a biosphere park. Especially the species-rich dwarf pine forests feature a variety of different orchids. Even the otherwise rare lady's slipper can be found here.

Hint / Advice
Rest stop at Gadenalpe as well as in Bad Rothenbrunnen on the return route.

Arrival by public transport: Regional bus 570 to cable car Sonntag-Stein, transfer to the call bus 571 to Buchboden Church – Attention, the call bus only operates on request (request must be made the day before by 8:00 p.m. or 1 hour before departure at T + 43 664 88 29 54 04)
