Alpine fire at the Mittagspitze

On August 7th the mountain rescue team Damüls will hold the traditional beacon fire on the Damüls summit. At dusk, around 9:00 p.m., the beacon fire will be ignited at the summit, creating an impressive highlight amidst the mountain scenery.

A special light spectacle is the torch parade, which starts at around 9:40 p.m. The mountain guesthouse Elsenalpstube offers the perfect view to enjoy the beacon fire in a cozy atmosphere.

The Uga chairlift will be in operation that evening from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Guests with the Bregenzerwald & Großes Walsertal guest card can use the lift free of charge.

Important note: This is not an event at the summit, but for safety reasons, the beacon fire should be observed from the valley.

The beacon fire will only take place in good weather conditions.
