Alpine fire at the Mittagspitze

On August 7th, the mountain rescue team Damüls invites you to the traditional beacon fire on the Damülser Mittagsspitze. When darkness falls, around 21:00, the large woodpile on the summit will be ignited, creating an impressive light spectacle amidst the mountains.

A special highlight is the torch parade, which starts around 21:40. The mountain inn Elsenalpstube offers the perfect view to enjoy the beacon fire in a cozy atmosphere.

The Uga-Express will operate that evening from 18:30 to 23:00. Guests with the Bregenzerwald & Großes Walsertal guest card can use the train free of charge.

Please note that the ascent to the Mittagsspitze is challenging and requires appropriate equipment as well as sure-footedness. The beacon fire takes place only in good weather conditions.
