Huts and Chalets in the Hiking and Skiing Area Sonntag Stein

Quaint Hut Adventures in Summer and Winter

We look forward to welcoming you here in the Biosphere Reserve Grosses Walsertal. The Sonntag Stein area is a cozy, personal ski & hiking area located between 900 and 1800 meters above sea level. You get on the cable car and cross the Lutz at an altitude of over 200 m, the longest drop of any cable car in Vorarlberg. The approximately 5-minute drive brings you directly to the mountain station in the parcel of "Stein", which in winter is only accessible by the cable car. For you, "d´Steh" is the starting point of all activities, whether skiing, ski touring, winter hiking or tobogganing.

We cordially invite you to our alpine huts, whose regional style we can justifiably be proud of. Farmed with dairy cows in the summer, you are warmly heated in winter and have plenty of room for socializing with good friends.

Information about the current situation:

The Vorarlberg state government has ordered the early end of the winter season. All ski areas in Vorarlberg were officially closed on March 15th. Accommodation facilities will close on Monday, March 16, 2020 after the last guest has left safely. Based on the Epedemic Act, all accommodations will remain closed until April 13, 2020.

Your health comes first in challenging times like this. We keep you up to date on all developments via our newsletter and social media channels.

We look forward to seeing you again in the coming summer or winter 20/21.
