Small Brandnertal Round | Brand-Bürserberg

This easy MTB tour starts at the Dorfbahn valley station and leads via the Eggaweg up to the mountain station of the Dorfbahn. Alternatively, this section of the route can also be conquered with the Dorfbahn. From the Dorfbahn mountain station, head towards the Innere Parpfienzalpe and continue along the Natursprünge trail to the Parpfienzsattel. From the Parpfienzsattel continue cycling towards the Burtschasattel. The tour then leads past the Frööd restaurant, from here downhill via the Burtschastraße towards Alpe Rona. From there via the "Alte Tschenglastraße" to Bürserberg. From Bürserberg, briefly follow the main road in the direction of Brand until you reach the village of Tschapina. Here you turn left (ATTENTION: push your bike on the company premises!) in the direction of Klostermaisäß and follow the cycle path to Brand in the district of Galaferda. There, the trail goes uphill again for a short distance and you return to the main road, which you follow for a short while to the starting point.

Equipment

Mountain bike, helmet, rain or sun protection, small snacks and sufficient water. Mobile phone in case of emergency.

Possibly a valid mountain railway ticket for the optional ascent with the mountain railway.
