Together on a Family Holiday
The sun is shining, the Rätikon gleams a magnificent white and the soft hum of the lift is perfect for an enjoyable day of skiing. Friendly staff welcome their guests at Brand’s modern village lift station ‘Dorfbahn’. Slowly floating up in the air we had awoken early to be one of the first on the moutain and ski on freshly groomed slopes. At the mountain station our ski instructor is already waiting for our two children, for whom we have booked a course. They will learn a lot today and as the two are already whizzing towards the Niggenkopfbahn, we climb into the panoramic cable car.
Once at the top, we enjoy the view with a cappuccino in the mountain restaurant, after all, we are on vacation! Then we carve over the still empty slopes towards Bürserberg into the valley - black, red, blue, red, black and over again - we cannot get enough. For lunch, we have an appointment with our kids and the ski instructor in the Palüd restaurant. Cheese spaetzle, Älplerrösti, Kaiserschmarren, pizza, pasta or even an Alpine burger? After lunch whilst the little ones step back into their bindings, we lie down in one of the sun loungers. Life can be so beautiful!
Two hours later and our little ski racers are back and want to show off their progress. We say goodbye to the ski instructor and make some more turns together. In the fun park, our little artists boldly jump over the smaller kickers and finally we all master the fun run together - a very special track with steep turns, waves and lots of fun. Tomorrow we would like to organize a race on the WISBI track, but for today it’s time for feet up and relax. So, we ski back to the valley and on the way to our hotel, we think about what we want for dinner tonight. Skiing makes you hungry!
