There is also a climbing garden with around 20 routes of medium difficulty, as well as a short but challenging practice via ferrata directly at the valley station of Lünerseebahn. Lünersee is also the starting point for one of the most beautiful via ferrate routes on the Saulakopf.
The state border between Vorarlberg and Switzerland runs over the summit of the Schesaplana. On the northern slope is the Brandner Glacier and at the eastern foot lies Lake Lünersee, one of the largest mountain lakes in Vorarlberg.
From the summit with the distinctive summit cross you have a breathtaking 360° panoramic view of the surrounding Alps.
