Rules of conduct for mountainbikers
Mountain Bike Tips
Take note of a few tips and there is nothing to stand in your way of mountain bike fun in our mountains. Mountain bike routes lead into a terrain in which special demands on the personal responsibility of mountain bikers are made. Therefore, it is important to follow certain rules of conduct to avoid confrontation and to ensure your own safety.
This especially includes:
- Responsible riding at controlled speeds and consideration for others Always think of obstacles, especially on bends! (Stones, branches, road damage, stored timber, grazing livestock, vehicles, roadblocks, etc.)
- Hikers and pedestrians have right of way priority. Considerate overtaking takes place at a walking pace.
- Agricultural and forestry management has priority on some approved routes. Gates are to be closed again, temporary barriers are respected.
- Do not leave the agreed and signposted routes. Nature and wildlife habitats should be respected.
- Good trip planning takes into account the difficulty of the track and your own ability. It also includes helmet, protective gear and a technically perfect mountain bike.

Open 24 hours every day! For € 7.50 6 different types of tubes are available. Hoses for mountain bikes, trekking and road bikes from 26 to 29 inches. The hose machine is located at Kristbergsaal in Dalaas and at Bachmann Bikesport in Bürs.
