Evening Mountain Gourmet Adventure

Our hosts in Brandnertal have come up with a culinary highlight for the winter season in the truest sense of the word, An evening mountain gourmet adventure. In the evening, when peace and quiet settles in the village, our winter sports fans, hungry from the days sporting activities, get back into the lift and float above the romantic village of Brand, where they spend a pleasant evening. At 1,600 meters, between Brand and Bürserberg with a view of the Rätikon, the Alpine town of Bludenz and millions of stars lies the Restaurant Frööd. The few meters to the restaurant are lit with torches, on the terrace is an open fire. Steaming mulled wine and fragrant punch warm your fingers, while your eyes are treated to shimmering reflections of the snow on the surrounding peaks, the glowing stars in the sky and the warm lights in the valley, which look almost as if from up here the sky would be reflected in a deep lake. Warm light radiates invitingly through the large windows of the restaurant into the dark night and inside a fire warms the modern, all-wood interior. To eat here is to eat what your heart desires - Wildburger in Bauernbrot, fresh tagliatelle with rocket pesto and of course, you must not miss the Kaiserschmarren. The small, selected card offers a lot of variety, the ingredients are fresh and lovingly prepared. In the comfort of the warmth and with full stomachs you could almost drift off to sleep, but the return to the village awaits.

Either float peacefully down by cable car or for more adventure wait for Max, who leads the night toboggan safari to Bürserberg. Equipped with headlamps, courageous night owls trample against Furkla, then rush away into the valley, cheering and shouting. Those heading back to Brand can sledge down illuminated bends back to the peaceful village.
