Sarotlahütte

Sarotlahütte

Gorgeous mountains, water falls and calm valleys with chamois, marmots and rare flowers await you!

Around 1611 metres above Brandnertal, the quietly situated Sarotlahütte is nestled in a valley basin at the foot of the famous Zimba. The original Sarotla valley is a paradise for nature lovers and mountaineers.

Built in 1902 by the Austrian Alpine Club, the hut was rebuilt and modernised after an avalanche accident in 1999. The ascent is via Brand, Bürs, Bürserberg-Tschappina or Bludenz. Beautiful peaks and hikes can be reached from the hut (Zimba, Zwölferkopf, Gottvaterspitze, Großer Valkastiel).
