The historic villas in Bludenz

In Bludenz, as in other European cities, the historic villa architecture was reflected in prestigious buildings. Magnificent villas stood in spacious parks and showed the wealth of their owners. Individual houses are still standing and a few are still used as residential buildings. In the 1970s, some of the houses were demolished to make way for new buildings and squares. Photos still remind us of the old days and allow us to trace the history of the old houses, which seem to have fallen out of time but are part of the town's history.
