Summer Exhibition of the town of Bludenz

In the early days of May 1945, the NS dictatorship in Bludenz came to an end with the entry of the French Army. Resistance and persecution in the years since the "Anschluss" in 1938 was the subject of the summer exhibition of the Bludenz City Archive five years ago. Now we turn our attention to the end of the war in 1945 and the French occupation in the decade until 1955. Memories of this have been collected in recent years through interviews and events. They complement historical sources from that time that will be featured in the exhibition. The opening will take the form of a guided walk through the city, during which historical sites will be presented by Dr. Franz Valandro.
