Schlitten - Kunstwerk Alpine Art Muttersberg
Sled by Liddy Scheffknecht
On the Alpine Art trail at Muttersberg, eight renowned artists have created their works – each station unique, shaped by individual perspectives on life in the mountains.
The sculpture depicts a sled at the moment of tipping – suspended in time, frozen in motion. It remains uncertain whether it will fall or glide on. Once used for the transport of goods at Muttersberg, the hay sled serves as a reminder of the laborious and dangerous work of mountain farmers.
