Opening reception at Kunstraum Remise Georg Petermichl

The installation artist Luka Berchtold embarks on a journey into the complex realms of ambivalent emotions and forms of communication with her work. Her artistic vocabulary, drawn from sculptural media, offers insights into societal and personal depths. By positioning herself in the interplay of materials and aesthetic tradition in the tension between tenderness and intimacy, authority and convention, she gives new forms to household items, construction materials, and overlooked feelings. A discussion about those softnesses, uncertainties, and ingrained habits that often find no space in the everyday becomes possible.
