Nightmare: Alpine Horror Short Film Night

Ready for goosebumps? For the creepy NIGHTMARE horror short film night, ALPINALE invites all strong-minded cinephiles to the Remise in Bludenz. Here, horror film fans get their money's worth, cheering instead of trembling at the sight of murderous monsters and bloodthirsty killers. Those who pass the test of courage until the end will be able to vote for their favorite horror short film. The best short films will then be included in the competition "Best Horror Short Film" for the Golden Bloody Unicorn at the ALPINALE Short Film Festival in summer 2025. From this selection, the jury will choose and award the winning horror short film. In addition, we will hold a competition for the three best costumes, which will be selected by a three-member jury from among the visitors.

This year, all films are in English or have English subtitles if they are played in another foreign language or original language.
