Easter creative market 2026

On Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the Nepomuk Fountain the participants will compete against each other in the Egg Pecking Contest. First, the eggs are struck against each other at the tips, then the bottoms are “pecked”. The first person to successfully press in the other person's egg wins – a playful competition amidst the colorful market activities.

In addition to the exciting activities, lovingly designed market stalls offer special ideas and accessories for the Easter table. Old traditions and customs are also in focus: Together with the parish communities of Holy Cross and Heart of Mary Bludenz, the popular Palm Bunch Binding will be offered again at Josef-Wolf-Platz.

The required materials can either be brought along or used locally for a voluntary donation. This allows for the preparations for a successful Palm Sunday to take place directly at the market, on which believers traditionally enter the church with a festive procession.

The Palm Bunch Binding will take place as long as the supply of branches, sticks, and ribbons lasts.

On Saturdays, the vendors of the weekly fresh market offer fresh, regional fruits and vegetables directly from the producer.
