Culture bridge Walgau: Dussa 25 - Good Things - Landscape artist Matthias Würfel
Together with about 20 students, the artist Matthias Würfel transforms the small forested ruderal area behind the Raiffeisenbank Bludenz-Montafon into an outdoor studio to engage in an artistic interaction with this small urban wilderness.
The term "GOOD THINGS" can be interpreted differently depending on the context, but generally it refers to positive, valuable, or desirable things, events, or qualities. It can encompass both material and immaterial aspects that enrich life, bring joy, or lead to prosperity and happiness. In a broad sense, "Good Things" could refer to good experiences, relationships, successes, or simply things that promote well-being. The expression is often used to express gratitude or positive expectations.
Inspired by the light shine of fluttering birch leaves in wetness, the small landscape behind the Raiffeisenbank is to be staged through an installation of reflective textiles in leaf shapes. After the completion of the 2-day workshop, which takes place in July, and the finalization of the installation, the sparkle and shimmer of the little forest will be celebrated that weekend. A collaboration with Doublecheck and PTA Bludenz.
