Since its founding in 2008, about 500 people have joined our goal of preserving and promoting the Sonntag-Stein cable cars. Organizing events can generate revenue and increase the frequency of the train. These include the annual Preisjassen, the Gaudiskirennen and the Kapellenfest. Contributing to hiking trails and road rehabilitation as well as assistance with cable car events are also part of the activities of the association. Advertising opportunities at the cable car stations and at the chairlift have also been created and can be booked through the Friends association. Information on this can be found below under Sponsoring.
Membership of the association is equally possible for both children and adults.
Thanks to all the activities and donations, the railway has so far been supported with a grant of € 40,000 per year. Not to mention the renouncement of the transfer fees of the alp communities Oberpartnom and Unterpartnom.
Seilbahnen Sonntag Stein - an extraordinary discovery in the 21st century, where attributes such as faster, higher, more, louder ... receive our attention. Targeted strategies to awaken desires, which we would not have without advertising, greatly affect our lives. And yet we feel the urge for primordiality, peace and joyful encounter with man and nature - more than ever.
To preserve this uniqueness for the benefit of the people is a future-oriented decision. Thanks to some "visionaries" came in 2008 to found the Friends of Sonntag-Stein. Through membership fees and donations, it is possible to operate the cable car and the chairlift for summer and winter operation.
Be a discoverer - explore Sonntag-Stein and see for yourself...
