In order to be able to guarantee particularly high quality in family vacations, only those establishments are designated as family-friendly that fulfill all points of Vorarlberg Tourismus's list of criteria for Top Family Hotels.
List of Criteria for Family-friendly Accommodations
Rooms/family-friendly accommodation units
- Spacious family rooms or apartments (enough storage space, shelves, sitting area in the room, enough shelves in the bathroom)
- Crib, children's bed or extra bed
- Stool for children by the sink
- Socket protection in the offered family-friendly rooms/apartments
- Sufficient facilities for drying small laundry in the bathroom
- Washing and drying facilities for laundry or laundry service (for a fee)
- Kettle in the room or on request
House equipment/services
- Play cupboard or box with maintained toy/game collection in the children's playroom, play corner or possibility to play, games which can be taken to the room/apartment
- Playground with sports equipment and toys with benches and sunshades - directly at the accommodation or within walking distance
- Information for excursion and program suggestions (own or provided by the place/destination) are available in the accommodation. Pocket folders with family-friendly tips from all over Vorarlberg are provided free of charge by Vorarlberg Tourismus. These are also available on the website www.vorarlberg.travel/family.

- Sufficient high chairs or table attachments for small children
