With around 15,000 inhabitants, the Alpine Town Bludenz is the lively center of the five valleys in the southernmost corner of Vorarlberg. This mountain town combines nature, culture and city life in a stimulating way, it is a place to meet and a starting point for explorers and active sports enthusiasts. In addition, Bludenz is also a member of the small historical cities association, these are small historical gems which have preserved their uniqueness from times long gone but have not stayed in the past. The neighboring village of Nüziders with approximately 5,000 inhabitants is nestled idyllically in the landscape.
The Alpine Town Bludenz and Nüziders are not only an ideal starting point for all sorts of sporting activities, but also an important meeting place for connoisseurs: markets, cafés, restaurants and not least the many different events, such as the annual Street Food Festival with freshly cooked creativity of local restaurateurs or the inspiring program series of the Remise, the cultural centre of the region - there is something for everyone.
In summer there are numerous hiking routes, themed trails and summit experiences to discover in the immediate vicinity. In winter, the two villages are the ideal centre for skiers and winter sports enthusiasts, ten ski areas can be reached within a few minutes. Cross-country ski trails, winter hiking and snow-shoe trails complete our extensive offerings.
