Klangraum.Stein with great Adventure Playground

The inspiration for the project lies in the unique nature itself. The objects create a framework for the nature to highlight their special features. The project is in the area of land-art and landscape architecture. Natural corrosive materials are used deliberately to integrate and become one with the environment through time.

For example, inspiring artists included John Cage and other acoustic artists, who in their projects sought to negate the production of sounds in order to portray the silence, the unavoidable soundscape as the real experience.

The Klangraum is an interactive project that deals with nature and its soundscape. Artistic installations accompany you on the path to the echo wall - invite you to listen, to enjoy or to help shape the soundscape. A unique experience for young and old. The covered barbecue area in Steinbild offers a brick barbecue area, table and benches and a well with fresh water. The peculiarity of the barbecue area is the clay oven, in which a specially created clay oven pizza can be baked, available at the mountain station of the cable cars Sonntag-Stein. An additional highlight is the new adventure playground directly at the barbecue area with water features and a special cave in an old lime kiln.
