On this hike we will go to the untouched nature of the Gadental. From the car park Bad Rothenbrunnen, the trail winds through pristine forests in a gentle slope to the Gadenalpe at 1,317 m. You will discover the wonderful natural diversity of the valley with the rare willow forests and many alpine flowers. After a leisurely rest at the Alpe we make our way down whilst learning interesting facts about natural forest development. Shortly before a stop at the Alpengasthof Bad Rothenbrunnen, you can taste the iron-rich healing spring that gave its name to the health resort built in 1834. After this hike, you will have experienced why this special valley has been designated a core zone and European protection area as a Biosphere Reserve and was voted "Most Beautiful Place in Vorarlberg" in 2016!
