Families as well as groups will have an informative journey into the original world of the Walser dairy at Sonntag’s show diary in the Biosphere Reserve Großes Walsertal. Here you can see a decades-long manufacturing art, as milk from still really happy cows is turned into a cheese of extra class. With a lot of experience and intuition the diary makes the cheese what it is - the pride of the Walser valley - the Walserstolz.
Under this motto, children and parents spend a little time away from everyday life. Step by step, the Alp diary opens up the Walser diary secrets. All information about the biosphere park is available in the newly designed interactive exhibition.
The biosphärenpark.haus also offers guided tours, including a visit to the biosphere reserve exhibition and dairy shop, where you can buy Walser specialties. Included in the guided tours is a welcome schnapps and a small cheese sample. Appointment inquiries directly in the biosphärenpark.haus.
